Medical certificate: - A new dimension of business

Regarding the present limit of attendance of the students of Delhi University or any other educational institution, on behalf of the school, the medical certificate for the students to remain unwell or unhealthy at the present time. The stage is accepted by the school. Students receive discounts when calculating attendance counts for those dates.

The purpose of this exemption is that students who were unable to come to school due to falling ill, have no difficulty in taking the exam and keep their minimum attendance limit. If there is more than the minimum limit of attendance, there is a provision for giving maximum five marks, that is why this provision is being misused by most of the students today and they are easily absent from the class by making excuses. This is the reason that the number of students in class is decreasing day by day.

It does not end here. Students who get medical certificates forged from doctor, those doctors have also started a new business. Physicians are also cutting silver by charging students from 150 to 200 rupees per certificate. Now, who can feel bad, there are customers who are enjoying the holiday and having fun and others are doctors who are earning money.

Regardless of social subconsciousness or administrative criticism, issues will arise, otherwise these students will continue to spoil school discipline. There is a need to bring strong provisions and to maintain school discipline, otherwise a new business will flourish in the society and doctors will sit on hoardings to sell medical certificates along with treatment.
